hiii!! my name is viktoriya! ever heard of the saying " if you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans? " yea, well, that's the story of my life. i started my professional journey as a surgical technologist, all set to spend my days in scrubs and operating rooms. then covid hit, and i left the medical field. though i always had a passion for photography, i never considered it a career because i thought i’d end up in medicine. that is, until the summer of 2020 when my now-husband proposed.
as we dove into wedding planning and began doing photoshoots for our invitation cards, something clicked—literally and figuratively. my passion for photography reignited, and i found myself wanting to be behind the camera, capturing every beautiful moment. and from there, things just took off!
fast forward two years, i launched a christian clothing brand called avaoche apparel, which translates to “abba father" in russian. naturally, my love for photography took me to greece, where i snapped stunning photos of my products against the breathtaking landscapes. during one of these shoots, i met the sweetest italian couple who asked me to take their picture, not knowing i was a photographer ( boy were they in for a nice surprise (; ). capturing their love was an unforgettable experience and made me realize that wedding and couple photography was where my heart truly belonged. their love was pure and real, and capturing it felt even better!
around the same time, my dog luna decided to have three adorable accidents with the new furry friend that we got for her named bambi. if you know me, you know how much i love dogs, so obviously, i kept all five fur balls . fast forward to april 2024, my husband and i opened The Lions Den Doggy Daycare in vancouver, washington. because, why not turn my love for dogs into another adventure? and yes, i take plenty of adorable doggy portraits there too.
